Questions about pricing
- Is there a free plan?
-
There is a free start rather than a free plan: one script import and one VFX breakdown
for your first organisation, with no card and no time limit. Images and video always run
on credits. We may change the trial; the Terms of Service say how.
- Why credits and not a subscription?
-
Because pre-production is bursty. A bid week generates a lot, the month after generates
nothing, and a subscription charges the same for both. Credits charge for what you make.
- Does the free import cover the whole script?
-
A script of ordinary length, yes. The free run has a budget, so a very long script is
parsed from the start until it is spent, and Sophie tells you how much was covered. A
paid import covers the rest.
- What does a storyboard frame or a previz clip cost?
-
It depends on the quality you pick and on what the run makes, so we do not print one
number here. Each project's cost screen lists every run and what it cost, down to the
frame.
- Are credits refundable?
-
Credits spent on a run are spent, whatever you think of the result, and purchased credits
are not refundable — except that when a run fails for a reason that is ours, you tell us
and we normally re-credit it. The
Terms of Service
are the binding version.
- Can my client see the bid?
-
Share the project with them as a guest. They see the breakdown as quoted and nothing
else in your organisation, and it costs neither of you anything.
